What is SOMA?
SOMA stands for Students Organizing the Multiple Arts.
We are a student run organization, located at The Pennsylvania State University.
We are dedicated to supporting and promoting the art community in and around State College, PA.
So what do we do?
A lot! Our aim is to foster an active network of artists from all disciplines. We work on projects that combine different artistic mediums or aid in promoting local talent. These include our podcast, open mic nights, local band shows, larger concerts with local opening acts, and art display events. We also do CD swaps, photo scavenger hunts, and other small stuff just for fun.
This Tumblr will be a window into the world that is SOMA. We hope you like the view. :)
